IB students routinely gain admission to some of the best known universities in the world. Most of these institutions have established recognition policies for the IB diploma.

Start by selecting a country, type in the name of college/university of interest, then drop down to list of specific colleges and find their policies regarding the IB diploma and college credit.

For example, for the UC schools, IB Diploma graduates with a score of 30 or above will receive 30 quarter units toward the UC undergraduate degree. UC schools grant 8 quarter units for students who receive IB certificates with scores of 5, 6 or 7 on designated exams.
